I went shopping for dishes and glasses for a friend’s new kitchen yesterday. We were convinced, once I helped her find these dishes, that her husband would like them. We even purchased one new placemat and napkin to help her set the table so he could get the full effect of their new silverware next to the glasses and dishes she bought yesterday.
We waited patiently for him to come home.
He did.
He liked the glasses.
He hated the dishes.
Boo!
The dishes will be going back tomorrow and now she’s back to sq. 1!
